Sunny Suljic was signed by the American talent Agency William Morris Endeavor Entertainment(WME) just the age of 11 after his role in the movie The killing of a Sacred Deer. The Georgian child actor is born to a Bosnian father and Russian mother in 2005 and celebrates his birthday on 10 August every year. However similar to his on-screen family life, he has not revealed much about his real-life parents. While TIFF Originals interviewed Sunny in 2017 about his on-screen parents, he surprised everyone when he stated that his on-screen parents are greater than his real-life parents, but later he claimed his real parents as the source of inspiration.
In the supernatural thriller, The Killing Of A Sacred Deer the actor Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman portrayed the role of Sunny's parents. In an interview with The Berrics in October 2018, he stated that his mom was behind his incredible acting skills. He hated to audition and recite monologues, so his mother used to write scripts for him to hone his skills. He made his big screen debut in an uncredited role of Gabriel in the 2015 drama 1915. Since then he landed the role of as Adrian in 2015's The Unspoken.
Other roles include the character of Oliver in the TV movie Shady Neighbors in 2016. His latest movie, Mid90s was directed by Jonas Hill. He portrays the role of a kid named Stevie who was brought up by a single mother and older brother. Sunny was able to use his skills skateboarding in the movie as he finds real friendship among a group of older drinking, pot smoking street skaters.
Also in 2018 Sunny landed the role of Tarby Corrigan in The House with a Clock in Its Walls and as a skateboarder in Don?t Worry, He Won?t Get Far on Foot. Similarly, he has worked as the voice role of Atreus, the son of Kratos in the video game, God of War.
